John Donnelly
(Archdiocese of Glasgow) Born in Shettleston, Glasgow, 11th February 1887, the son of John Donnelly and Mary Thomson; transferred to Bearsden, 15th July 1907, and ordained a priest by Archbishop Mackintosh (Chersona) in Cathedral, Glasgow, 29th June 1913; professor of philosophy and vice-rector, Bearsden, from January 1925 until his death in a car accident at Ballantine, 12th August 1935.
